Sales of Ford

Sales zip past the 2-million mark for the first time since the 2007 autos brand Ford, Ford Motor Co. said Friday.

With a strong year after year the recent gains of the model such as Ranger, Explorer and escape, Ford’s namesake brand is set to complete the 2011 prerecession style.

Dearborn, Mich.-based automaker, the second largest in the United States, said that the sale of a small car brand Ford Fiesta and Fusion on track to complete up to 20%. Light truck can see 30% gain.

Last month, Ford sold 160,560 autos-brands-over 20% increase compared with the same month in 2010. At the end of November, the company reported sales of 1.86 million Ford brand vehicles.

Recently, the car says the market share of retail has an average of about 15%-the highest in five years. Ford also owns the brand Lincoln and Mercury.
